Rev. Mitchell Lincoln founded Big Springs Full Gospel Church in 1972.  He was the grandfather of our current pastor, Pastor R. Lincoln. Rev. Lincoln pastored until 1983.  Pastor Resin Lincoln took over.

The church has grown quickly under Pastors Resin and Yolanda Lincoln's leadership. In 1987, Big Springs had to move to a bigger building to accommodate the growth of the membership.  In 1990, an 8:00 AM service was necessary, so it was added. Pastor Yolanda Lincoln usually conducts the 8:00 AM service while Pastor Resin Lincoln conducts the 11:00 AM service.

Together Pastors Resin and Yolanda Lincoln helped Big Springs grow in God. In their teaching classes, everyday practical ideals are being taught to help the membership grow as Christians. The teaching nights begin with prayer from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The entire family participates in the prayer service from adults to children.  After the prayer service, the men, women, youth, and children are separated into classes and are taught pertinent information regarding their specific needs. The service ends with a devotional service and fellowship time.  These services are very popular as well as successful.

Big Springs joined the Maddocha Fellowship of Pentecostal Churches in 1990.
